cisRED data have been available at Ensembl through DAS since early 2005. We are now working with EBI to integrate cisRED data directly into Ensembl's new gene regulation displays. The integration should be complete by December 2005.
The new database releases contain promoter region predictions for: human (NCBI 35, 16K target genes, 33 input species, 200K motifs with p-val < 0.01), mouse (NCBI 34, 16K target genes, 28 input species, 250K motifs with p-val < 0.25) and rat (7K target genes, 28 input species, 100K motifs with p-val < 0.25). Most genomic data were drawn from Ensembl v35. Fifteen species were added via low coverage genome sequence data. More details are available on the home pages of each species.
