cisRED C. elegans version 1 database

The first release of predicted regulatory motifs and modules is now available for C. elegans. Conserved motifs were identified upstream of 4894 C. elegans genes (WS140) that had at least 2 orthologues from C. briggsae, C. remanei , and Brugia malayi. In total, 123 411 motifs were found with p < 0.05. Clustering analysis identified 822 groups of similar motifs with at least 10 members. Identification and analysis of co-occurring motif patterns is ongoing.
